Being You

Understanding that Forgiving Others Frees Yourself, is a crucial step towards achieving Peace and Harmony within.

Everything....E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G that has ever caused a war, that has ever lead to jealousy, that has ever lead to envy, that has ever lead to stealing, that has ever lead to any and all things we dislike,.... all of it is because we have not learned to forgive others and ourselves.

Religion has set Forgiveness into a position where we beg God for our forgiveness or suffer the consequences. Our past has made forgiveness a fearful thing instead of the blessing of love that it really represents.

For starters, ask yourself if you think God would require you to do something that either he couldn't or wouldn't do himself? Of course not, so then, why do we beg his forgiveness when he expects us to forgive each other without question? See Matthew 18:21 & 22 Are we more capable of forgiving than God? I don't think so. So it stands to say that God already forgives you as you perceive you err.

Being forgiven is one thing, but to make changes in your life about your actions, that requires that you make your highest choice about those things you desire to change. This is not an act of acknowledging guilt, but one of self-awareness and it signifies you wish to live your life in a better way than you already are.

Forgiving yourself is essential before you can even begin to truly forgive those around you. You are as bright and shining a spirit as any, in Gods eyes. The issue is that religion and society has taught you not to believe such a thing, so first, let's take a closer look at the roots of thinking we are sinners, damned to hellfire, unless we say the magic words.

Say The Magic Words
How is it possible that there are hundreds of religions on the earth? How is it possible that they all claim to be THE WAY to God? How is it possible that any of them are correct? How is it possible to know?

Man has, from day one, devised method after method of creating his image of what God should be. These methods eventually grow into religions. These methods, although inspired by God in many ways, are still derived and built by men.... by men who have from generation to generation, been taught to fear God.

We get angry when things don't go our way, therefore, so must God. We take revenge when we are wronged, therefore, so must God. We require ourselves to be the most important and center of attention...to be worshipped, therefore, so must God.

For a moment, forget the stories and Bible examples of the angry God. Clear your head and ponder....Would you truly wish to serve a God that threatens to kill you if you don't do exactly as he says? Can God be so shallow and without heart that he would give us free will, but then kill us for making use of it? Is God so unlovable that he is afraid our free will would never lead us to him without threats?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then why would you even begin to want to be with that god... to be like him... to be angry and vengeful and hateful. These are the traits of men, not God. These are the ways in which we have perceived Him, but only because we only had ourselves as examples....as templates.

Now let me introduce you to God, perhaps for the very first time. Take all the love that can exist...take all the matter of the universe...take all the spirits within each of us...take all the spirits and angels and now put all these things together and that is God. God is one with you. When you think he is not with you...when he feels distant, he has not turned away from you because of your sin, as man would explain, but it's because You have placed a wall between yourself and your creator. God does not put the distance between us, we do.

God loves you. No ifs, ands, buts or exceptions. He is not a lawyer, looking for every conceivable way to trip you up, testing every word to use it against you. That is not love. That is only our own fear of what we have never understood.

There are no Magic Words that make God accessible. You do not have to believe in any one religion. You just need to know in your heart that God is always there for you, no matter what any man or written text says.

God is always there and provides you with as much help as you allow and stays as far away as you desire or as close as you desire. This is our free will and the only one that punishes us is our own perceptions of guilt and where we feel we stand with God.

So, what are the Magic Words that the creator of the universe would require you to say in order to be accepted or saved? What are the Magic Words or the required rituals to ensure you'll enter heaven? There Are No Magic Words, except within religions. God is not religion, nor does he exist in any special place. He is everywhere and nowhere. He just is. His words to you are "I love you". The magic moment is when you simply accept this and tear down the barriers you have placed between yourself and your creator.

Ok, now, you can see how it is you who places obstacles between yourself and God, so by forgiving yourself, these obstacles drop away. Once dropped, you can repent the circumstance that lead to the obstacle. This is not an acknowledgement of guilt, but a statement of choice. To grow you must choose to become like your higher self and put away the thoughts and ideas of your lower self.

So once you have freed yourself from holding guilt against yourself, you are free again to walk with God and learn about him and make him an integral part of your life. Your growth with him will no longer be based upon doing things for fear of him, but upon being things because of him.

The final step is to forgive those around you. Just as God holds no contempt for you, you must realize that those around you are also children of God and it does not help you or them, to hold things against them. By forgiving people, you free them to grow and you free yourself to grow as well. Consider that anything you do is not done to purposely hurt or defy God. So it is with most people who have done things to you. It was not done for the reasons you or they think. Forgive them and be free.
