Filling Your Winter With Love

Depending upon where you live, winter can easily push you to your limits of patience and also create an air of depression or tiredness. It gets dark early and it's usually colder than you like. Who was on that committee when God created winter?

Fortunately, winter also brings us into a New Year. This symbolizes a fresh start and so you can view the snow as a wonderful clean slate for your life to be written upon. Last year is gone. Good or bad, set it aside and always put your best foot forward.

Winter also provides us with the wonderful Valentines Day holiday, right smack in the middle of the coldest and dreariest month. It's like an oasis in the desert, providing us with a wonderful occasion to express our love with those around us. (note: You don't have to wait for Valentines Day to do this. Any day is fine.)

Spring will get here soon enough. Meanwhile, use this winter to start anew and take the time to express you feelings and love to those around you. The activities of warmer seasons consume so much of our time and we don't do this enough, so take advantage of winter and fill yours with love.
