America has many hero's, some of them have died
Some of them have broken hearts, all of them have cried
Through it all we stand tall, America will never fall
Broken lives we can't erase, but together we can face

Standing together, this we'll weather
From sea to sea, and land to land
America has many nations, living in her land
Now her people of all races, stand together holding hands
Giving us new hope and light, bringing a new sense of life
America will face the call, and undivided never fall

Beverly S. Klecka was born and grew up in St. Louis County, MO, but moved to Elkland upon getting married. She has been married for 35 years and is a stay at home mom for most of that time. She has 3 wonderful daughters ages 33, 29, and 10, as well as two Two great son in laws, one of which is a Lieutenant Comander in the United States Navy. She spend her little bit of spare time volunteering in the past for the red cross, in her childrens schools, and for her church in care and childrens ministries. Most of her poetry is put to music as well.
