Does love make you different?
I'd really like to know.
If it does, how do you change?
Do you feel high or low?
Does it make you make decisions
you have never made before?
To maybe change your morals
and open a new door?
Is it better than being a loner,
keeping all your thoughts withheld;
not letting people into your heart;
not allowing your thoughts to unweld?
Can it be, love changes hearts,
to make morals more straight?
And does it fill your empty thoughts
with kindness, not with hate?
After love has gone and died,
does it leave a scar?
Does it die off slowly,
or like a falling star?
Is materialistic love, true love?
The same as love for others?
How 'bout the love of money,
where love's caught in greed and smothers?
Is love of just the body,
the lowest form of all?
Or is it just love simplified,
without the love-heart call?
From all the form of love there be,
I crave that which changes hearts.
That's the most precious form of love...
That's the love that never parts.
