A Letter of Thoughts...

When you are faced with a tough decision, my child, look in Gods words for the answer. If you are still unsure, look into your heart and use it to make your decision. You will grow up learning the lord's teaching and your heart will remember them when you are confused.

It is important to remember, your grandparents will do their best to spoil you rotten. It is our responsibility, as your parents, to make sure you don't stay that way.

My proudest moments will be when you are happy.

My saddest moments will be when you are upset or scared.

Never forget to count your blessings, giving thanks for what you have instead of wanting for what you don't.

Do not ask the Lord what he will do in your life, child, instead ask him to show you what his will is and what he wants you to do to be a part of it.

Little one, your life is a book that you continuously write each and everyday. When you get to the final chapter - be proud of this piece and let the ending be with God.

• No matter the situation or the circumstances, know my child, there are two things you can always believe, one - God loves you and two - believe in yourself.

• Never overlook the obvious, no matter how complicated the question or problem appears to be.

• Whenever people speak words that hurt you and feel as if they cut to the bone, remember God is there to protect you and absorb the pain. Words can not hurt you my child; no matter how they are said, nor by whom they are spoken.

• Remember, little one, happiness is simply a state of mind, that you can achieve any time and as often as you want to or will allow yourself to.

• Little one, there will be times in your life when it seems God doesn't hear or answer your prayers. Know during this time God hears you, he just isn't ready to answer at that moment.

• God is at work around you each and everyday. It is up to you to see how He is working and then join Him.

• Always learn from your mistakes. Making a mistake is not a problem, repeating that mistake over and over is.
